Terry Lee Zabel was born in Havre, Montana in 1939 to Gustav and Estelle (Savage) Zabel. Terry was brother to Gordon. As a child, his family moved to Idaho, and then later to Lebanon, Oregon, where he lived until his graduation from Lebanon Union High School. Following the Korean Conflict, Terry served in Korea in the United States Army. Upon returning home, he married Norma Jean Moser and began working as a postal carrier at the Beaverton Post Office, where he worked until his retirement in 1993. Terry Lee Zabel was born in Havre, Montana in 1939 to Gustav and Estelle (Savage) Zabel. Terry was brother to Gordon. As a child, his family moved to Idaho, and then later to Lebanon, Oregon, where he lived until his graduation from Lebanon Union High School. Following the Korean Conflict, Terry served in Korea in the United States Army. Upon returning home, he married Norma Jean Moser and began working as a postal carrier at the Beaverton Post Office, where he worked until his retirement in 1993. Terry was happiest when he was spending time with friends or enjoying the outdoors, and he was an avid deer and elk hunter.

Terry is predeceased by his Wife, Norma; Brother, Gordon Johnson.

Terry is survived by his Son, Patrick Zabel of Beaverton, Oregon; Daughter, Taryn Peterson and her husband Kirk of Nolensville, Tennessee.
